MAP 12-61-0 is the most widely used fertilizer as a source of both phosphorus and ammonia nitrogen. It contains 12% of nitrogen in ammonia form and 61% of phosphorus as ammonium phosphate. The high phosphorus content makes it a true high energy fertilizer. Ammonia nitrogen of MAP can be not leached from soil and can be slowly uptake by crops, it facilitates phosphorus uptake, but limits excessive uptake of potassium. Phosphorus form of it is easy available in soil and absorbed by roots or leaf of crops.

Application

1. MAP 12-61-0 is a lower PH phosphate fertilizer that can be applied with irrigation water on all soil types, except for very acid or alkaline soils. It can quickly soluble in water that can be used for different kind of irrigation system.
2. MAP 12-61-0 gives optimal effects when applied with soluble nitrogen fertilizer and potash fertilizer. Crystalline MAP 12-61-0 also can be apply mixed with neutral or acidic pesticides, avoid mixed by alkiline pesticides, calcium and magnesim content fertilizers. 
3. For foliar spray, it should be done with correct concentration and spraying time should before 9:00am or after 4:00pm (6:00pm in summer) except with all kinds of extreme weather such as heavy rain, intense light and megathermal, also can be add some soapy water to keep the liquid in the foliage for longer time that conducive to absorption by the crops.
